Mr. Wolf joined Talon in 1999. He began his career in 1982 as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers Inc. In 1987 he joined the investment banking group of William Blair & Company where he worked for two years. In 1990, Mr. Wolf joined Henry Crown and Company to oversee a portfolio of privately-owned businesses. In that capacity, Mr. Wolf founded and became the CEO of Crown Golf Properties, L.P.Mr. Wolf, who combines finance and operating experience in his background, currently oversees Talon's private investment portfolio and Talon Opportunity Fund, LP. He is also a portfolio manager for Talon International Select Partners, LP hedge fund and serves as Talon's Chief Operating Officer and as a managing member of Talon. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Answers Media LLC, Compliance 11, Inc., Mindcrest, Inc., PlayNetwork, Inc and the National Strategy Forum. He received an A.B. degree from Hamilton College in 1982 and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1990.

Mr. Freedman was previously CEO of Yoplait, U.S.A., COO of Wheels, Inc., CEO of IVI Travel and President of Fuller Brush Company (a subsidiary of Sara Lee Corporation).
Manish Kothari
Manish Kothari was President and co-founder of AlphaSmart, Inc, an education technology company (www.alphasmart.com). For over 12 years, he was responsible for overall management of worldwide sales, marketing and operations for AlphaSmart, Inc. In addition to helping build and grow a $40MM business, he was part of the executive management team during AlphaSmart's IPO (NASDAQ: ALSM) in February 2004, and, the subsequent acquisition of AlphaSmart by Renaissance Learning, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLRN, www.renlearn.com) in June 2005.
Prior to joining AlphaSmart in 1993, he served on the staff of Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. (then a division of Eli Lilly & Company) in strategic planning and marketing roles. While at CPI, he was responsible for product marketing for a new device used to interface with implantable pacemakers and defibrillators.
Manish currently serves on the Board of Mindcrest Inc. (www.mindcrest.com) and on the Advisory Board of Water Partners International (www.water.org), a U.S.-based nonprofit organization committed to providing safe drinking water and sanitation to people in developing countries. Additionally, he is a Charter Member of TiE - Silicon Valley, and, a member of the Advancement Council for the School of Engineering & Technology at Brigham Young University.
Manish Kothari received an MBA degree from the University of Chicago in 1990, an MSEE degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1988 and a BSEE degree from Brigham Young University in 1987.
Daniel Yih
Daniel Yih is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Starwood Capital. Mr. Yih joined Starwood in October of 2007.
Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Yih was Chief Operating Officer and a Portfolio Principal of GTCR Golder Rauner, a buyout fund with more than $8 billion of capital under management. Mr. Yih spent five years as a partner at Zell Chilmark, a buyout fund investing in financially distressed companies. Mr. Yih had direct operating experience as Acting Chief Financial Officer at Welbilt Corporation, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company where he had been an Associate. Mr. Yih began his career at Kirkland & Ellis representing equity investors in leveraged buyout transactions and venture capital investments.
Mr. Yih earned a JD and MBA from the University of Chicago. He graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering with distinction from Stanford University. He serves on the Board of Ann Taylor Corporation and from 1995 until 2007 was a member of the Board of Directors of Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Yih is also a member of the Advisory Board to Chicago Cares, a not-for-profit community services organization.
