Over her 20 year career Colleen has acquired a variety of experience in the Financial Services, Real Estate and Professional Services industries.

As a legal advisor to large and mid-size companies in the highly specialized and technical areas of ERISA, executive compensation and employee benefits. Colleen acquired a depth of knowledge in the tax advantaged deployment of compensation and benefit structures as a mechanism for driving employee engagement and performance. As a strategic business consultant, Colleen leveraged her legal experience, along with her experience in tax and financial accounting, to find opportunities for her clients to maximize enterprise value as well as to continually motivate and engage employees.

Both as a legal advisor and as a business consultant Colleen has advised dozens of clients on a variety of aspects related to mergers and acquisitions, particularly with respect to employee compensation and benefit matters.

Colleen’s deep technical expertise, combined with her consultative practical approach has earned her the reputation of a trusted advisor who approaches her client’s complex business challenges with an appreciation for the multitude of implications including financial, legal and the impact to employees.

Prior to joining Mindcrest, Colleen spent 5 years with Deloitte Tax LLP and she practiced employee benefits law for several years prior to that with the international law firm of Sidley Austin LLP.

Colleen received her bachelor’s degree in communications summa cum laude from Valparaiso University and her JD magna cum laude from The John Marshall Law School.
