ROHAN DALAL

MANAGING DIRECTOR, INDIA

Rohan, a member of Mindcrest’s founding team, has been leading the company’s India operations since its inception in 2001.

Under Rohan’s leadership, Mindcrest continues to pioneer the industry in India. The company has grown to more than 700 employees and will be more than 900 within the year. Rohan has adapted and applied global business and industrial engineering best practices, helping the company scale its rapidly growing business.

Before Mindcrest, Rohan spent seven years studying and working in the U.S. He earned a master’s degree in industrial engineering, with a specialization in systems and operations research, from North Carolina State University. He then applied this expertise at various companies, including AlphaSmart, Inc. (now known as NEO Direct, Inc). Rohan set up the logistics and distribution systems for this start-up, which did IT product development for the education sector. He also worked closely with other private and public sector enterprises on several greenfield projects when he was director at Industrial Linings Group.

Today, he spends his time overseeing Mindcrest’s Mumbai and Pune offices. Rohan, who has witnessed the full evolution of this sector, also often speaks at industry events and colleges, and to the press.
