Mindcrest pioneered legal offshoring services in 2001. Since that time, we have gained a proven track record of high-quality client service. We were founded by a mature team of two lawyers who have more than 30 years experience in large U.S. law firms and two others with significant management experience in the U.S. and India.

We currently have 700+ attorneys on staff in Mumbai and Pune. This makes us the largest employer of lawyers in India.

All of our Indian employees are full-time employees of Mindcrest. They are experienced lawyers from India's top law schools.

More than 70% of our employees have many years of experience and 65% are women. In addition, many of our employees are former law school professors. Our employees speak more than 40 languages and dialects, and bring a wide variety of experiences and talents to Mindcrest.

As India is a common law country, legal education in India is similar to the U.K. and U.S. The basic courses in first-year law school are the same, including contracts, torts, property, etc. Legal education in India is in English. A law degree (LLB) can be obtained either through a 3-year post graduate degree in law or a 5-year, full-time integrated undergraduate/law degree after graduating from high school. In addition, many lawyers continue their education with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.

Our U.S. lawyers work with our clients and our delivery teams to properly scope and plan projects. Sometimes a short pilot or test phase facilitates creating a more specific scope for the project.

We can price hourly, by full-time equivalent (FTE), by project, or by transaction.

We conduct regularly scheduled project conference calls with clients. We also hold regular weekly internal meetings between our Chicago management team and our India project teams.
